North Bristol NHS Trust adopts EROS e-Procurement

North Bristol along with two PCTs, South Gloucestershire and Bristol North for whom it provides procurement support, has contracted to the EROSNet service replacing its Oracle Procurement solution.

The EROSNet service has been implemented in 3 months and North Bristol has just gone live, including the interface to Oracle 11i financials.

Richard Ward, Director of Purchasing & Supply for the Bristol and Weston NHS Purchasing Consortium is very pleased with the achievement: “This project signals a valuable step in unifying purchasing processes across the Bristol and Weston Health Community which will support further value added purchasing work, as well as significantly cutting the waste of unnecessary process. Robust project management ensured that the EROSNet implementation went extremely smoothly.

This has now enabled us to move into Phase 2 of the Project and expand the use of EROSNet to all wards and departments.”
